How to Increase Your Phone Charging Speed

In case your phone doesn’t support flash charging technology, then this is for you to increase your phone’s charging speed.

Increasing your phone’s charging speed requires some little tricks to make your phone charge at high speed even if your phone doesn’t have the flash charging technology.

If you have tried charging your phone and it’s slow, the issue may be coming from the adaptor or the USB cable.

Before you follow this method below, make sure you’re using a good adaptor and USB cable to charge your phone.

How to Increase Your Phone’s Charging Speed

- Reduce Phone’s Brightness

- Clear Apps Running in Background

- Turn on Airplane mode

1. Reduce Phone’s Brightness

Reducing your phone’s brightness increases your charging speed while charging.

As increasing your phone’s brightness reduce battery life, then reducing your phone’s brightness increase charging speed.

I normally reduce my phone’s brightness (11% brightness) while charging to increase the speed, and I notice that the charging speed increases than usual.

This spike the charging speed of my phone because the phone doesn’t have flash charging technology.

2. Clear Apps Running in Background

Another way to increase your phone’s charging speed is to make sure all apps running in the background are cleared already.

Some applications stay up running in the background and if this occurred while charging then your phone will be slow.

3. Turn ON Airplane Mode

When your phone that doesn’t support flash charging technology got interrupted while charging then it may experience slow charging afterward.

In other to deter that, you have to make sure the Airplane mode is ON while charging. The airplane mode will prevent calls, messages, and notifications from disturbing your phone from charging at the speed you want.

In case you have an important call or message then this may not be the best option for you. You can simply use the “Do Not Disturb” to select who should call you or Not.

Note: The method share in this blog post was tested on an Android phone that doesn’t support the fast charging technology, we don’t guarantee that this may work for you.
